Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

Digital Content Creator Position Overview

The Digital Content Creator – Motion and Visuals Specialist will be instrumental in our team, tasked with creating high-quality video and photographic content. This content will not only highlight the natural beauty of our race locations but also the dynamic spirit of our participants. You will play a significant role in engaging our audience through daily organic social media content, in addition to working across various digital channels such as email and web.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement a content strategy that showcases the unique aspects of Vacation Races' events and destinations.

Create engaging, high-quality videos, photos, and illustrative content, focusing on outdoor and active lifestyles for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

Deliver content to the Vacation Races audience through organic social media on a daily basis, ensuring consistent engagement and brand visibility.

Utilize user-generated content to foster a sense of community and enhance our brand's storytelling.

Develop compelling calls to action to motivate our audience to engage with our races and adopt an active lifestyle.

Adjust content strategies based on performance analytics and audience feedback, maintaining relevance and effectiveness across all channels.

Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, overseeing content projects from start to finish with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

Requirements For This Role

Experience: At least 3-4 years of experience in digital content creation, with a strong focus on video editing, photography, and storytelling.
Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your ability to produce captivating motion content, especially in natural or outdoor settings.
Specific Skills:
- Expertise in video editing software, photography equipment, and social media platform management.
- Proven project management capabilities, with the ability to balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the knack for creating narratives that resonate and inspire.
- Adaptability in content creation, open to incorporating user-generated material and modifying strategies based on analytics.
- A passion for the outdoors and a commitment to promoting active lifestyles through visual content.
Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required to generate and gather content within the event and hospitality space.
Travel: 25-50% travel required.
